We will be going to the track this Thursday at Talladega Grand Prix. I cant wait. The car drives great.

Car Update: We replaced all the fuel lines because the lines on the car were terrible. I really like the 4.10 diff. I havent driven a 3.73 so I can’t compare. I admit that there is a lot of shifting, but the redline does not show up too quickly. I drive a diesel and it only revs to 3k rpm - with 25psi of boost the redline comes up pretty quick in it. The roll cage is getting closer to completion. We got the rear cross bars in and the race seat in. Tomorrow we install the seat belt bars.

$500 Lemons Madness

The Kudzu Kommandos are a rag-tag bunch of mistfits, once thought lost in the thick vines of the infamous and unstoppable ground cover renowned throughout the Southeastern United States.

After several years of immersion among the thick vines, they emerged as changed beings: Mostly human, but infused with the eerie tenacity of their plant bretheren, determined to overrun anything and everything in their path.

Seizing upon a ratty old BMW, they now take their brand of vegetative domination from the roadside to the road itself! Behold, the awesome power of the KUDZU KOMMANDOS!!!

The Kudzu Kommandos joined forces to run the gauntlet in the 24 Hours of Lemons "LeMons South" race at Carolina Motorsports Park, July 26-27 2008. The team was deadly on the track when the car was running well, posting the second fastest lap time of the race.

Overheating and eventual head gasket issues kept the car off track far too long to continue the domination, and we finished 54th out of 74 entries. With the coolant system issues resolved, we have no doubt that the team will mount a fierce assult in the 2009 LeMons South races.
